opps... am not being negative about this thing... I was more curious about why a specific group was targeted. Sometimes some people welcome questions of "why".. because it helps them improve their research..

I am happy about this situation being investigated..whatever age group will be used it would still inform the public that false allegations happen and thanks Izzy for your answer..yes possibly that could be a reason.

I don't have a case though... Until an indictment hits my door step I am merely a by-stander gathering information whilst complying with draconian bail conditions.

False accusations are already in the news and the way all the idiots are jumping on the Savile nonsense it won't be long until false accusations are ALL that are being talked about... Just waiting on the media publishing how many of the (last count) 300 odd 'victims' will be getting £11k compo and then the jails will be that full nobody will be going on trial for quite a while...

I'm not having a go at the OP. All I'm getting at is that it's not enough. It might be a step in the right direction as has been rightly pointed out but the government and all the others on the bandwagon have been sprinting for a long time now. A step isn't going to rein them in...

Discouraging youngsters from being youngsters... Jeez, I thought it was bad that most 30 year olds can't wipe their own bums but even that isn't childish enough for those in power now, we must be wrapped in cotton wool at all times. Every single thing of a sexual nature has to be questioned these days, there is no room for any doubt or any relaxation. I'm wondering if there are still people out there actively pursuing sex! Seems more of a hazard than flying a fighter jet....

You are criticising the programme without even having heard it and I don't understand that. You're having discussion's that should
        be made after it's aired.

Surely it's a good thing to get the story out that FA do happen especially to an age group that it's normal to hook up after a night
out that pregnancy and STD's aren't the only danger! Not saying that's the direction the programme will take but if it makes even one person think, then that's a good thing and certainly not odd!
Which person is it that's going to think though... I am entirely supportive of stopping men from thinking they can be barstewards and get away with it but unfortunately I have been at the mercy of two lying and cunning females who have literally wrecked my mental well being and could possibly have me imprisoned. The current way of implementing change is simply not working from my experiences.

I will be more than willing to listen to the OPs show. I am sure that should they piece everything together well then it'll be fantastic and more than beneficial but I just fear that the more the subject is not fully presented to the public the more the continuation of the same will happen. Anything involving an allegation of a sexual nature is still some kind of weird taboo situation where the accused, in the publics eye, has to prove innocence rather than be found to be guilty. Maybe the show will deal with this?

You're looking at it from your point of view though. I'm not talking about men ( barstewards ) who think they can get away with it.
I'm talking about accusations that can be made against Boys/Men after hooking up on a night out, probably something that would never occur to them unless they knew someone who had been on the receiving end of it or listened to a programme about it.

Hi Fighter, I don't think you were being negative just asking an obvious question and I was just surmising what I thought. Hope your doing ok.

I would like to say sorry for the above comment, I realise it was very much uncalled for and I take it back completely with my apologises both to Lawlessone and anybody else whom it may have upset

                    Hey, it's cool.

I was scared to reply just in case you got me into some big debate or something and ripped me to shreds.....

                    I was ranting anyway...

I don't have any ill feelings or bad thoughts.

                    Peace.

Ha, ha, it is unique I have friends from England who are used to it now, but it took them a while!

I love Edinburgh, always think it's really scenic with the castle.

                                PS.....

I really was getting scared in case Faith was gonna slaughter me or something...

Good to see it was just a bad day and having to deal with a 5h17 like me was too much... I'll try and curtail my ranting a little especially when I'm in all guns blazing and don't even know the script.
