Look at this:

... and the conclusion:
“Our qualitative results suggest this occurs because men introduce and prompt women’s drinking, and because divorced women lose the influence of men’s alcohol use upon dissolution,” they concluded.
Could it also be that women are natural candidates for alcohol abuse because they just like getting drunk and that getting "comfy with a partner" allows that behaviour to flourish whilst divorced women are back in the game and sub-consciously realise that no-one wants a souse?
It is well documented that women on a date frequently order calorie-poor items such as salads, whilst in comparison, women "out with the girls" frequently order much more calorie-rich items such as lasagne.
To conclude what they have done is biased and is another example of stacking women's detrimental behaviour upon men.
