    I will make no comment about this case as I really don't know any more than I've heard on the news, but it's quite 'educational', in view of the recent thread on sensationalism in journalism, to contrast the headlines for the two articles.

    Interesting. I note that the Daily (hate) Mail stated "the girls were subjected to a brutal attack" as though this were a proven fact. And the police statement referred to them as "the three victims" not "complainants.
    Press sensationalism? You bet your ass.

        Furthermore the alleged gang rape made the nationals whilst the NFA only features in the East Anglian Daily Times, which I have hardly heard of although I live in East Anglia.

        I suppose the Daily Mail might feature the withdrawal of the accusations tomorrow, but I'm not holding my breath
