i think the issue is releasing names of women who have accused men of rape when they haven't been charged is not possible and doesn't make any sense when a victim is only a witness in court. it is the cps vs the defendent, not the accuser vs defendent. until the accuser becomes a defendent their name shouldn't be released (well thats what i think).

I posted my experience as a partner of someone who has been falsely accused of rape on here the other day (it was my first time).
I feel that in doing do I have upset someone on here who's reply to the post I done was somewhat, well the only way I can put it is that they were not happy?.
I apologise for this and did not in any way set out to upset people on an already sensitive subject.
So for this reason I will not be posting on here anymore and will close my account.
I hope everyone on here gets the results they want and deserve.

I think LS was referring to Ruth Hall who was on TV the other night. She really is an unpleasant person from what I could see and refused point blank to listen to the FA'd point of view via a criminal defence solicitor.

She had to be reminded several times that the alleged "6%" conviction rate was not part of the discussion. The subject matter was as to whether accusers should be named pre trial as well as the accused, or anonymity for all concerned.

If you are still on this forum I do strongly urge you to continue here as you will need empathetic support for some time to come.
