What can be done if the accuser won't stop repeating the allegations?

A rather sad outcome because after lengthy legal proceedings the appeal judge concluded that the only was to stop the accuser making the allegations was to publish that they were false in open court.

This is; probably not the conclusion the gentleman concerned wanted but even a jail term didn't stop the accuser.

The worst thing is that nothing can be done. The law is on the accuser's side in most cases. I geniunely hate this .Why make innocent people's lives harder?
