Hi all,
Back in January I wrote asking for help my son was set-up by a child, well he went to court and was told because this girl was so well prepared and so well groomed and word perfect that he had no chance of winning and he was better off taking a plea bargain to keep himself out of prison. He was frightened into taking this plea bargain because he was told that he was looking at 5/10 yrs in prison because this girl had accused before 3/4 times (different people) she knew the system and knew how to work it. He was also told that if she cried he was definitely going to prison (justice ah!!
. We were petrified for him - there was no way what ever it took was he going to prison he was to frightened to risk it, so he did what was asked of him and pleaded guilty. We were all devastated. He then had 2 wait for pre sentence reports i.e. psychiatric etc. His words 2 us were what do I tell them mum when I didn't do it? He was told that if he didn't say something he would get a heavier sentence because they would say he was in denial so he couldn't win whatever way he went. As we walked out of court this family that accused my son were in hysteric's they thought it was so funny we were mortified what made it even worse we knew they had another victim up in court a few months on it was sickening. We have since learnt that this girl will get a large payout. This that we know of will be her 4th. Someone please tell me where is the justice system? Well just to let you know my son got 3 yrs probation and put of the sex offenders register. His life and career are now over, all because of a girl and her families greed... It?s a case of money comes 1st they don't care that it wrecks lives and there are serious consequences. Not only did they finish him that way but called our towns local paper as well as hers and had it splashed all over the papers, but took pleasure in having his photo put in as well, also rang the radio station and had it broadcast. They also did the same with the others that were accused we do not know who the other blokes are but we do have one name and if he is reading this I feel for him deeply and the families. This girl knows who she is and has been put on the serial accusers data base so hopefully this will stop her (but I doubt it). If anyone would like to read the letter I wrote to the judge they can email me at Heartbroken26773@aol.com. Please take this on board - do not ever plead guilty 2 something you have never done. My son now regrets taking the plea bargain and we can not have it over turned. Even the judge did not want to sentence my son. He knew he was telling the truth especially after reading my letter to him and reading her lies but because he pleaded guilty he had no choice.
