I was placed on the sex register 2014, I was informed the day before court there were twenty odd images of children on computer, I was also told the police forensics were of the opinion I was unaware they were there, I was never asked how I pleaded...automatically guilty.I returned the following month after attending a social work hearing,they had no reccomendations,the Sherrif told me he had read the reports and admonished and dismissed me with no intention of putting me on the register,Police Scotland challenged the verdict and I have just had notification I'm on the register for five years if I had been fined or caution it would have been less, I'm off to see my solicitor today,anybody been in a similar situation?
