      Hopefully as they are guidelines/proposals they won't have filtered through to the frontline troops by next week!

      Nevertheless if you can bear to post up about your trial it would be educating for us all to get your observations on the process.

        I'm sure they still do coach witnesses. Where the complainant has been expected to be her or his usual bolshy self they've sat there like a little meek good two shoes.....

          Wonder if this is because of what's happened with Lord Janner. It seems as though everytime there's a case like this, the DPPs just ups the bar for lesser mortals. Almost seems like they're trying to draw attention away from past failures.

            In response: It has been in place for some time, that's the purpose of a defence statement.

            The system is forever devising nuances to procedures and applying them without fanfare and circulation.

            Then,when there's a crisis they "announce" a "proposed measure" which is already in place.

            Its all smoke and mirrors.

              If you saw the difference between the first and second interview of my case it would prove you right.
              Words, phrases, terminology was totally different compared to the first. It was a read out script.
