Hi,
Just stumbled across this forum and I am very happy i did!
I was arrested over 3 years ago for 'Exposure', It was whilst I was at my Phase 2 training whilst in the military, it was all complete nonsense and within 2 months it was dropped and I was given, No Further Action. I was extremely relieved It was all over with.
However now 3 years down the line and soon to leave the military I am worried if having a marker such as being arrested and NFA'd can affect me with getting a job, as I would like to eventually join the Police Forced or any other future careers. I don't see why being falsely accused of something can still affect me 3 years down the line when I am at an important time in my life.
- Will I need to disclose this when applying for any jobs?
- I understand this will come up in an advanced CRB check?
- Will it affect me in getting a job (I understand innocent until proven guilty doesn't exist anymore)
- How or could I get it changed to NC?
Maybe I'm just being paranoid, however I need all the help I can get and I feel this is having a negative impact on my future.
Thanks for taking the time to read this.
