    Hi

Sorry to hear you're finding it so tough, I'm afraid there is nothing you can do to hurry the cps decision they have no thought for the anguish of those falsely accused or those close to them. My son suffered terribly for 11 months during the time my husband was under investigation then charged, it really is living a nightmare.

Is this your first bail date? I know it's a horrible thought but it may be worth preparing yourself for a rebail rather than a decision. Are you sure the police have actually passed your file to the CPS yet ?

Im sure the only reason the cps took action in our case is because the family court judge told them to make a decision but a certain date! I also believe they just panicked didnt read the information and ran out of time so decided to say yes they would charge him.

so getting a judge to hurry them up could work but finding a reason for a judge to do that might be tricky!

And you might piss them off if you insist they hurry along

Has it actually gone to the CPS or are you assuming it has?

CPS have a huge backlog due to allegations flooding in thanks to the media pushing forth stories of "victims" claiming £KKK's in "compensation".

I appreciate that the waiting for a result either way is traumatic.

sorry I can't remember how long you've been waiting - but waiting is a terrible terrible strain. I eventually went to see my MP who wrote to the CPS and the Chief Constable which brought (meaningless) replies from them, but 4 months later after a total of 21 and 1/2 months I got NFA. I don't know whether my MP's letters did anything to speed this along or not but I felt a lot better having seen him because it made me feel I'd taken a bit of control back and was being proactive instead of reactive.

Yep I remember how positive you were and it was the first time in a long time I heard smiling through your voice! It does help to know you are in control of at least some of it.
