I had to laugh out loud at that!
Seriously though - a copper crying because she wouldn't get her easy nick. Utterly disgraceful..... if that was her husband or dad/brother falsely accused I bet she wouldn't have been quite so cavalier....
I should have taken a picture and if you had seen what she was warring a skirt suit and let's just say it didn't fit very well ( maybe that's why she was crying the judge had a go at her because of it Or she looked in a mirror) I'm turning into a right *****
The tragedy is of course, that the officers who are only interested in self-promotion really don't give a sh*t about the truth. They are only interested in the easy nick - ergo - a promotion on the back of a "successful" prosecution.
How nice it is to know that some officers are actually human enough to cry, even if it is for the wrong reasons....
When I was arrested it was for rape and hurting my son, the male police officer who was in charge of the allegation of me hurting my son couldn't have been any better and seen right though my ex partners bull **** ( I really do mean that ).
And I Defo agree about the promotion side of it the female officer even told my x partner mum she was hoping for one.(so let's try and lock up an innocent guy to do it)

It was exactly the same in my case, two young female DCs on a trophy hunt. Conducted a rubbish investigation and were upset when it all went wrong for them.
