Response to Keir Starmer

He [Keir Starmer] said that, in the past, "many victims didn't have the confidence to come forward because we were asking the wrong questions".
"If you go into a police station and report a burglary the first question is not 'are you telling the truth'?
"If you are the victim of a sexual offence, very often in the past that has been the first question."
This is an interesting analogy but one that doesn't really hold water: if you go into a police station and report a burglary that happened a week ago, never mind twenty or more years ago, even though you had been living in the house all the time; the first question is likely to be "why didn't you contact us when it first happened while the evidence was still uncontaminated and fresh in any witnesses minds?"'What doesn't kill you makes you stronger'

Thanks for posting FS!
Assumption to victimhood v Assumption to innocence - this is the true battle being fought in the courts 'the fundamental shift' Starmer boasts of.
Soon they'll be brain-washing us into believing a re-defined meaning of 'justice' (I can't see an alternative except than to recognize an official attempt to pervert the course of justice -who knows, perhaps in years to come with historical hind-sight....)
