Despite the Scottish Justice Secretary's assurances, doubtless the removal of the requirement for corroboration is to get more convictions and we know that a proportion of these will be down to false accusations.
Almost in the same breath, dismay is expressed at the increasing prison numbers of sex offenders, and this is before the CPS have dealt with the current flood of new cases that they are pursuing!
