  • Changing Solicitors

We have finally found a solicitor we wish to use and even a barrister that specialises in marital rape. I feel very proud of myself! lol

Anyway, we obviously need Tafs file off the useless solicitor. Is this done between sols or can we go and pick it and take it to the new sol? I don't want this useless ******* dragging his heels now when Taf is in court next Monday to enter his plea.

Can anyone help us as to what the procedure is when changing solicitors?

    Thank you

Happy Sunday to everyone by the way.

our new solicitor chased up the papers as the duty solicitor wasnt even answering our phone calls. I cant remember how long it took the paper work to be sent; but it was with them when my partner got charged. Hopefully your solicitor will chase it up efficiently as the court trial is near! Oh Taff well done for the change of solicitor, as they said the solicitor should provide the case with a solid foundation! hugs!!!

The judge disallowed the change of representation because he felt the solicitors had done all they can. Really damn annoying. Plus side, the solicitor has pulled his socks up so all good in the end. :-)
