  • Police believe the 'victim' without question

Believe you me, the police will believe you.
Your word will be taken as gospel.
You will be give 5 star gold treatment.
Your unsubstantiated, uncorroborated word will be enough to persuade the CPS to charge your multiple assailants under the positive charging policy.

You will be interviewed in a comfortable suite with all facilities.
Your interview will be video taped as an ABE (Attaining Best Evidence)
You will be the witness in-chief.
Your ABE will be key evidence.
You don't have to prove anything happened, it is for the named suspect to prove his innocence.
If these men cant find physical, cogent evidence to rebut your allegations they will be convicted.
Defence counsel will not cross-examine you in any way that would distress you.
Defence counsel is very restricted in what they can ask you.
You do not have to be in court you can be cross-examined by video link in a room elsewhere in the court building.
Victim support, the investigating officer and the prosecution counsel will give you all you need.
The 'Victim' is believed and supported.
Media dis-information that victims have no rights is rubbish.
Things have never been so good for victims of rape/sex assault contemporanious or historical.
To reassure you. The conviction rate for rape is 58% to 63%
The conviction rate for allegations of historical rape/sex abuse is 98%

Oh I forgot, the compensation is pretty good as well.

Do I detect a sense of bitterness in your post VJ?

I have to say that I concur with your underlying message......

            Sticker ?

Hi everyone.I was just wandering if she would have a sticker as well for being good.
I have just been accused with my wife. She wanted to divorce and I didn't mind but then I realised she had a wealthy lover, she wanted me out of the house asap and even told the police that if they knew about this false accusation:I would kill myself.I've been on bail since the beginning of May, had a motorbike accident after drinking but unfortunately for her I am still alive.
Psychologically I am destroyed, financially it's going down pretty quickly but we have a nine year old son and he is my world.
            I had a family,married 11 years, a nice car,motorbike,...I worked like a mad for this and suddenly:Nothing.
I am by foot, had to start sleeping on the floor at work,I now live in an unfurnished room,no tv,no fridge, just a kettle and a microwave.I don't know what to do (just wait I suppose). My family is all at the other side of the channel.I had been taped without a solicitor but told the exact truth maybe I shouldn't have.So I am just waiting to see if I will go on the electric chair for teeling the truth or my "lovely"greedy wife will get flowers for lying.
I told the police that my son couldn't have a rapist father.I am still alive to fight for him and for justice. Most of the days are dark and cloudy, sometimes I had enough with everything but my son is my sunshine and to all of you in the same boat:RESIST.
Some people get mad because their wife is cheating, some for divorce and some for false accusation of rape.If I won't get charge I will be bulletproof.
Thanks god I have work to keep my mind busy.
PS: I don't really believe in God but I even went in a church to ask him for some help. And since he is been quite good with me.My motorbike has been crashed and the dealer couldn't believe I am still walking.I managed to keep my driving license because the level of alcohol was too low so I kept my part-time job+full time job.
I must go back to the police station beginning of August and let you know.
By the way thank you for creating this website.

                Gold sticker

                I am in uk.
Thanks for paying attention Rights Fighter.
I just received an email from one of my solicitors and my "wife" has the right upon my son so if I want to see him I must start procedure with the court at another expense.I already spent nearly a thousand pounds just to try to see him and for the solicitor to send letters.Aaarrrggghhh.It will cost me an arm and a leg this story but if the police doesn't charge me I should claim compensation from my wife for lying to the police.

You mentioned the electric chair which is why I asked - we don't have the death penalty in the UK.

So far you have not been charged by the looks of it so hopefully the matter will be NFA'd (No Further Actioned).

Hopefully others will be along soon to post up support.

                    Rights fighter

                    Hi
I know there isn't electric chair nor injection nor gaz chamber in UK but to wait is absolutely insane for me.In three months I look at least 5 years older.I cannot concentrate at all and make lots of mistakes. My wife sent nearly all my belongings to collect from a storage company and we are still not divorced.I haven't seen my son since beginning of May and wander what she told him.How can someone can be so evil for the money?.Of course in my belongings the gold jewellery wasn't there.I don't care as long as i am innocent.I don't want to fill the E form as long as I am on bail.Talking about money she was well pleased to ask the divorce solicitors that I forced her to have sex.I then replied that I wanted this removed fom the form as I never ever forced her.So I would have to pay around 200£ for this.I must pay the court to try to see my son but I refused as I want to see him as a normal father and not with miradors around us I AM INNOCENT.I must pay the solicitor to arrange rendez-vous to try to see him.Are there anymore feelings on this planet or is it just about your wallet?

The "statistics" come from Verity, who often made it up as she went along. Note there is no link to an official source.

I've been involved with historic sex abuse/rape trials for 14 years and I would say that from that experience it's more along the lines of 50% give or take. The better prepared the def is for trial and the more communication between legal reps, the less likely there will be a guilty verdict.

Yes, thanks - that statistic was disturbing and good to know it might not be accurate.

She used to be in contact with some "ranters" who would make their own statistics up, or rely on those taken from somebody's personal blogs - not an official source of course.

I think that trials I have actually been involved (as opposed to supporting) it's been less than 50% guilty verdicts. That's not necessarily because of anything I have done, but because they listened to and took advice, they made the right choice for solicitors and barristers who listened and took on board various arguments.

Selecting the right defence team is vital.
