Is it me or have the forums been update / changed?

These forums have been running at the speed of stop for some time, for me and others.

The layout seems to have completely changed over the last few hours but it still runs slowly.

Is it just me this is happening to or have others noticed it too?

I can't see any way to change font, colours, add smileys etc.....
