BUG REPORTING - August 2010

Hi Moo

Not urgent, just reporting one item for looking at.
At the top of the screen there is Notifications, My Profile, Settings and Log Out.
The "My Profile" button doesn't work, although it's not urgent because "Settings" will still open profile, as will Forum Actions/Edit Profile.

Also, tried to upload a jpeg to show you this, but the Add File button is missing in Manage Attachments.

Otherwise, so far looking nice.

I just tried to view a new member's profile and got a "fatal error" message. Not sure why!

Me too but you can get into your own profile the way LS suggests

Yes, the Settings button on top right allows us to get into our own profiles. There doesn't seem to be any way to check anyone else's, say new members etc.

Ok, the "add files" issue is fixed too!

There's two different ways you can setup attachments so I simply changed it into the alternative interface. Please let me know if there are any issues with this.

It's a shame it doesn't take me long to break things too though - I've yet to do an upgrade where something didn't go wrong...

No more upgrades for a while though - My vb upgrade licence has just expired and I can't afford the renewal at the mo. So I need to stay on this version for a bit. Fun...

Well, there's nothing broken here. And to be fair the list of bugs was very small so it worked out really well.

I do like the one-button What's New, rather than having to press Quick Links then Today's Posts as it was.

The colour scheme's not as vibrant as the previous one, but it does come across as less cluttered. Maybe not as easy to use for the ladies, as they're probably so used to the old one, but the old one will seem old hat in no time.

Did you see my comment on the other thread about Hotmail?

You are angling for a slap Mister!! I like this new set-up and have no problem with it! I am sure some guys have probs with it and it's not just Friday!

The guys aren't going to admit to having probs with it are they? Only us ladies are honest enough to say so, if it is true!

I dunno, I was the first to say I was having problems uploading files because there was a big hole where the "Add File" button was supposed to be.....

.... and I'm a bloke.
Okay, maybe I'm just the exception....
