I have a morning free
So I am resorting to my poetry
It has been a long while
But on my face is a big smile
Must be nearly two years since I last wrote
Since then the dragon has been smote
Through her heart went my lance
After I was led one hell of a merry dance
I have been through the mill
But the beast I was to eventually kill
But not the end of the fairy tale it was just the start
With my little family who are forever in my heart
I fought for the maiden right to the very end
Now this is a poem so poetic licence and I can pretend
Well my “maiden” well let’s just say
I put him to bed and get him up every day!
But this is a poem about killing dragons right
My greatest struggle my greatest fight
With my maiden tied to the stake
To be saved or be eaten
And that depends on who was going to get beaten
And it was never going to be me
As we shall see
I am after all the hero of this tale
I was not the one who was going to ****ing fail
So come on then
Let’s take this to the end
So fast forward back to now
I guess in this poem I am taking my bow
I won she lost
She was left counting the cost
I got her son
Job done!!!
I had a little break so now trying to get back in the mode
Since my last poem I have travelled one hell of a road
Now I am firmly on the straight
And my life is simply great!
I got my greatest wish
As I turn and stare at my tank of fish
I am sitting at home
All alone
Ok I know I am going on
This poem is now 100 words to long
But I just want to sit and write
After all I have won the fight
So I may as well rub it in
Who again was to win?
The dragon I slew
And that and that was you!
You know who!
But remember this is pretend for when you view
It is about slaying a dragon in far of land
It took me a while but in the end I got the upper hand
The flames were dying, they were being reduced down to being mainly smoke
The wounds already inflicted on her she was already starting to choke
She was the one who chose to go for broke
Well HA HA HA **** off you were just a joke
The might around her was propped up by myth
And away from her the “maiden was ripped”
Taken from her grasp
Then we ****ed off fast!
And the dragon well she died
The last horrible scream she cried!
And I came through the fight fearless and fresh
Injected in to me by my maiden’s breath
In fact in the end the contest was not even all that close
Though at times she dammed well kept me on my toes!
In the end it was just going through the motions
Not exactly on cruise control my standards had to be kept very high
Now this is where I am really trying to express my absolute devotions
So the dragon had to just **** off and die
And die she did
Well you know – I kinda got the kid
Whoops I meant the maiden of course
Not keep on meaning to flog a dead horse!
Dragon my ****ing ass
Well you have seen what has come to pass
Just a pussy cat with a few ****ing claws
Well I soon put out the fire in your ****ing jaws
In the end I got barely a scratch
Who ever ****ing said I have met my match?
Anyway I must bring this poem to an end
Back to real life – come out of pretend
It is not every day I kill a dragon – so I will take my bow
Bye for now!
