I found his website and have emailed the webmaster as we don't know for certain that he's not been falsely accused - or doesn't have somebody close to him who has been.

The Dafamation of Strickland Banks is the name of his album. His artist name is Plan B, but his real name is Ben something. The album is a story of a singer who has a fling with a fan. She then goes on to Falsely Accuse him, he is tried and convicted and sent down. This particular song tells the story of his arrest and trial. The rest of the album is the story of his incarceration as an innocent man. (apparently, I haven't heard the whole album yet, but I suspect me and R will be buying it very soon!)
I think it's a great tune, and you can't deny the message in it. Great that it is riding high in the charts too - might raise awareness!

I hope that all the people who are buying it actually listen to the lyrics.

I must be a little old lady cos I could only watch about a 1/4 of the interview as his talking voice is so boring and it was about his career and shows etc, I didn't hear anything about the "She Said" song.

Played the video - yep good although usually I can't abide rap "music". I think we will post this up on PAFAA!
