Well they haven't seen the evidence as they have not disclosed it?? The only evidence that is need is the fa word.
Like I say I really don't think you have to give a plea at magistrats I am going to google it now(I'm only saying this because if your sol says you do then maybe you need to look at another) all u do at magistrates is confirm your name and address

Hi and welcome though sorry to see another new member here.
I think that if you have been charged then at the magistrates court you are read the charges and enter your plea. From there a trial date is set for a Crown Court. Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES enter a Guilty Plea at the Magistrates Court if you are not guilty. This CANNOT be retracted and has huge repercussions which will follow you everywhere for a vey long time.
The magistrates court does not sentence. that comes in a Crown Court after a trial (if it goes that far) IF you are found guilty. there is a long way to go between then and now. It's good you have faith in your legal team.

thank you myhome i'm out standed at how someone can do this to another person they obviously dont see the implications of what they have done i was a happy man but since the day i was arrested i have gone through months of depression thought about killing myself (i know wont do any thing apart from more heart ache for my family) i have lost all my friends all i have is my family who are supporting me the best they can and my girlfriend who has seen through the **** (excuse the language) and has also supported me. i believe though i have no proof my fa is just out for money to either a. continue with her drug habit or b.blow on herself instead of her daughter

OMG is correct regarding not having to enter a plea at Mags for a serious offence which is going to be sent to Crown.
The confusion may have arisen if there are one or more additional charges which relate to lesser summary or either way offences where a plea might be entered at Mags.
One of the best explanations I found for this complicated subject is here:

Another CPS link which mentions sending indictable-only cases 'forthwith' to Crown Court:
