I've been reading through the posts here for hours, sometimes I feel hopeful and other times completely helpless. My son was maliciously and falsely accused of historic rape yesterday by an ex-girlfriend. The police have been vile and we're both distraught although I'm trying to be strong for him but we live in a small community and allegations however false are hard to stomach. I can see from other posts that there are many other mothers in the same position as me. I am hoping I will glean some useful information from this site and it is giving me somewhere to retreat when sleep is elusive and my stomach is churning.
