This is a rather loose but sometime informative article on LA from the BBC.
It is my advice to always go with legal aid if you are eligible, you won't get a penny back otherwise.
There are still some great hard working LA lawyers that will do a great job. ( Some are listed on this site ) Spending your life savings won't guarantee anything.
