cps advice

I have probably asked this before but my bail papers said back in June that police were waiting for cps advice. We are still under investigation five months later and the files are still not reading to go to cps for charging advice. Therefore what was the cps intervention back in June. Sorry if irrelevant question. Just struggling to cope after two years of this

The CPS have been encouraged to advise at the beginning of an investigation rather than just at the end, it doesn't mean very much I'm afraid.

It would seem you might have to wait a while yet.
