Hi All and happppppy new year....better late than never !!
I was pondering if anyone could give me some advice , i have seen insurance for people who have convictions etc , but i have no convictions , as my case was thrown out due to Abuse of Process....
I am currently living in rented accommodation , but i would like some content insurance.....one of the questions they asked me was :- have you been arrested , charged or convicted in the past 5 years.....so basically Yes on two out of three , they wanted to know further details , i tried to be tactful and so it was not for any kind of fraud or dishonesty etc. , i said somethings are basically just personal.....but I know they wont insure based on my answer etc.....
So does anyone know of a suitable insurance company that will not ask about arrest and charge , but perhaps convictions ..... or do i need to go to a specialist insurance company , seems a tad unfair considering the case was thrown out.
