not like the Beatles??? My flabber is ghadsted!!

I have heard of Bruce - not so sure about Tom thingy, I'd have to google. My problem is I recognise people/bands but have no clue who they are - they just become a Blur (see what I did there?!)

I have umpteeen dance/trace cd's, know the running order of them all, but who they are or the title - not a scooby. Mind you, I've had that many names I'm hard pushed to know who I am half the time!

I am just trying to "chill" anyone on this website because I know how I felt and some of you might: Music I am sure is a way to "escape".

        Tom waits:The Earth died sceaming.
Sisters of Mercy: Marian. (of course)
The Clash:The magnificent Seven and Police and Thieves. (From Junior Murvin).
        Bauhaus:Bela Lugosi's dead.
Radiohead but once again this comes from my heart and when I listen to him....
[HD] Thom Yorke - Analyse (From The Basement)
        Or "No Surprises" .
My heart is melting because I think about my son.

        The Rolling Stones:Paint it black.
Nina Simone :I put a spell on you.
        System of a Down:Sugar.
        Tuxedomoon:No Tears.

        The Police,Kid Loco,...

Bob Marley :Get up, stand up...

The Cure :"Boys don't cry" .What a coincidence?

All cats are grey, lullaby, just like Heaven, close to me,a forest,...

        Shame on me I forgot:

        Joy Division,New Order,Talk Talk,Marc Almond,Depeche Mode: there will be too many ...

        It will never end...

          @RFLH

The song that made you cheer up wasn't "Bohemian Rhapsody" from Queen but from the film Wayne's world or Lee Evans?

It has to be the original Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody. Its one of those songs that you know where you were the first time you hear it and are blown away.

Agreed RFLH! I was about 10 and in my M&D's living room.
I have seen Lee Evans live performing his routine to it as well and it makes me giggle whenever I think of it. (My sense of humour is pretty unrefined!)

                10?? Sob!!

Quite like Lee Evans, he's a good actor too.

Michael McIntyre's version of Sex on Fire, makes me howl with laughter!

                            Don't worry RFLH
The most important is to be openminded.
I'm a few years younger than Saffron and Friday's mum.
From a website that I quite like I was born in "maybe" the best year for music.
                            I'll let you all guess...
