at B'ham crown court the accuser and her 2 supporters were kept in a completetly separate area to us. We were in the open waiting area, they were in a special room with an appointed representative looking after them. they used different doors to access the courtroom, so the only time we saw them was in the public gallery.

The trial last year was at Birmingham Crown court and the prosecution witnesses and the accusers were sat a matter of feet away in the waiting area. Maybe the pros waiting area was closed for some reason such as redecoration or something. I know it was an experience I am not in any hurry to repeat.

that must have been horrendous, RF. I am glad we were kept separate to the accuser - I would have wanted to smash her head in.
